High temperature requirements in the process industry

high temperature solutions industry

In the metal and process industry, one is dependent on insulation material withstanding higher temperatures than usual. AES fiber products meet the high temperature requirements between 1200 ° C and 1500 ° C.

While glass and rock wool are used for insulation at lower temperatures (on average between 200 ° C -500 ° C), AES fiber products meet the high temperature requirements of around 1200 ° C. Through the collaboration with Insulcon, Isopartner has had access to high-temperature products for a long time and there are constant improvements in the market.

INSULFRAX® LTX are the next generation INSULFRAX® products

INSULFRAX® LTX has the same benefits as previous INSULFRAX® mats (INSULFRAX® S and INSULFRAX® LT), but now with improved physical properties that improve thermal performance and treatment. The INSULFRAX® LTX mats are inorganic and binder-free with less dust and have a significantly improved surface finish. The mat is easier to handle and cut, which results in faster assembly, reduces skin irritation and reduces scratches. In addition, INSULFRAX® LTX mats have a high tensile strength.

What savings does high temperature insulation provide?

The new INSULFRAX® LTX products provide both energy and cost savings. The improved LTX insulation performance enables companies to save energy costs and meet strict CO2 emissions targets without sacrificing insulation performance. The mats require less sealant or mat thickness than standard AES mats, and create valuable space in boilers and stoves. By reducing the insulation thickness by up to 25%, money can be saved.
